About Kim

Kim has loved street trends since childhood and was exposed to Japanese fashion culture as a teenager. Later, under The influence of his sister, he learned about different youth cultures through magazines such as The Face and i-D, and gradually developed his interest in clubs, fashion, and styling.

In 1992, after completing a basic art course at Brighton Technical College, he moved to Camberwell College of Art to study graphics and photography. This was followed by a postgraduate course in fashion at Central Saint Martins, specialising in menswear design.

During his studies, he worked as a warehouse clerk at Gimme Five, a shop owned by British fashion icon Michael Kopelman. In 2008, Kim joined men's luxury brand Dunhill as Creative Director. Until 2011, he moved to Louis Vuitton.
