Recently, Sotheby's official Instagram account announced the LV x Nike Air Force 1 first wave of sale information, will be in the form of online auction on Sotheby's website, limited to 200 pairs, sizes from US5 to US18, each pair of shoes starting price of $2,000, With an estimated price of $5,000- $15,000 (about $95,170 per pair), all proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Post-Modern Scholarship Fund founded by Virgil Abloh. The auction runs from January 26 to February 8.
The first pair on sale is the most representative calfskin LV Presbyterian style, which combines the most classic designs of LV and Virgil. The shoe body is splined with LV's two classic monogram prints and damier checkerboard elements. The words "AIR" and "LACET" on the side and shoelaces are Virgil's signature design.
